Dr. Joseph Rella’s role as a leader is similar to an orchestra conductor. She/he cannot play as well as any of the people sitting in from of her/him. They are virtuosi. The conductor’s task is to help shape the performance, help them to play as an ensemble. When that occurs, we have beautiful music…have a listen.
